WHEN A CLAIM WAS MADE TO LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL NOT ONLY DID THEY DENY LIABILITY THEY ALSO DENIED THE ROAD IT TOOK PLACE ON EXISTED!
AFTER SENDING THEM A GOOGLE MAP CLEARLY SHOWING THE ROAD THEY THEN PROCEEDED TO TRY AND DELAY, STALL AND DEFLECT ANY CLAIM ELONGATING THE PROCESS BY CONTINUALLY ASKING FOR THE SAME DETAILS
WITH ASSISTANCE FROM RINGROSE LAW THE CLAIM WAS FINALLY SETTLED WITH THE THREAT OF COURT SOME 9 MONTHS AFTER THE INCIDENT!
MORAL OF THE STORY - DO NOT LET THEM FOB YOU OFF AND KEEP PURSUING THE CLAIM
The driver hit the pot hole in a new Range Rover and smashed both wheels and deflated both tyres. The County Council initially would not accept liability nor indeed admitted to it being their road!
Only after submission of google maps did they accept it was their road.
The whole claim took 9 months due to Council stalling and being pedantic about invoices and repairs and the driver had to use Ringrose Law to assist with the claim which in the end was successful.
Moral of the story keep persisting if you have a pot hole claim against a council!
